It was an honor and a privilege to host our local heroes, representatives from the Tyler Police Department and Smith County Sheriff’s Department for lunch today! Included among our guests were Sheriff Larry Smith and Tyler PD Public Information Officer Don Martin. A special note of thanks to Citizen’s First Bank for generously providing lunch for everyone. This was merely a small way to tell them how much we appreciate law enforcement and the amazing job they do for us every day.
Tyler Morning Telegraph: Tyler, Texas is looking to build on its image as a home for cutting-edge technology companies and bring in more businesses like The Genesis Group. Genesis serves as one example of how tech companies can grow and thrive in this community. Tyler4Tech, a local group of tech luminaries, was recently at SXSW (South By Southwest) in Austin promoting the city as a viable spot for established tech companies and green startups.
“What we do can be done from anywhere in the world…but I choose to be here.”
Tyler offers a number of attractive motivational benefits to businesses, such as a modern infrastructure, financial incentives, family-friendly lifestyle, and intellectual property advocacy.
Construction has been completed on our energy-efficient (green), state-of-the-art building located on Eagles Nest Blvd. in Tyler, Texas! As this was the vision of the first of many new buildings from Genesis Founder and CEO, Phil Burks, the building has been unofficially dubbed as “The Phirst Building”. We rolled out the red carpet for this technical marvel to our friends, family, partners, customers and community. Among those in attendance were Congressman Louie Gohmert (US House – First District of Texas) and representatives from the offices of Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn. Numerous other local dignitaries also participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house festivities. This is a day that everyone at the Genesis Group feels a tremendous amount of pride and gratitude for our friends, families, partners, and customers!
