Genesis Family Fun Night! 🦆🌭

The extended Genesis family came together for an evening of ducks, dogs, families, and fun!

Together, we assembled Carver Care Bags for parents with babies in Tyler’s NICU. In partnership with the incredible team at The Children's Park of Tyler, these bags are designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and practical support during an incredibly emotional season. Named in honor of Carver Chapman, they reflect T.J. and Gracie Chapman's heartfelt desire to surround these families with love and hope when they need it most.

We also packed Gold Family Care Bags to help restock supplies for The Gold Network of East Texas, supporting families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment. Filled with practical items recommended by parents who have walked this difficult road themselves, these bags are a small reminder that no family walks alone.

Then, in classic Genesis fashion, we migrated to the creek for our annual Duck Race…And, as always, it was everything it was quacked up to be. 🦆🏁 Thanks to Kona Ice of Tyler for showing up and helping us cool off!

We are grateful for the good times with our extended GenFamily and for opportunities to serve alongside people who are making a real difference in our community.

This past weekend, the extended Genesis family had an absolute blast preparing food boxes and stuffing hundreds of bags of rice and beans at the East Texas Food Bank. All told, 5,651 senior meals were packed, which will be distributed throughout East Texas.

Unfortunately, hunger affects people of all ages, including many seniors living on fixed incomes. People right here in our backyard. The East Texas Food Bank helps fill the gaps, providing nutritious meals and a little extra peace of mind.

The East Texas Food Bank serves 26 counties and partners with more than 200 local organizations to help provide meals to children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity. Their reach is incredible, but their mission is simple: making sure our neighbors have food on the table.
