👏 We are excited to welcome Mason Starnes as Operations Manager at Genesis!
Originally an Army kid who moved around growing up, Mason eventually found his way to Texas, and we’re glad he did. He attended Texas A&M before earning his MBA from UT Tyler, bringing a strong blend of leadership, operational insight, and problem-solving experience to the Genesis team.
Outside of work, Mason enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, building things, mountain biking, and camping.
The future looks bright at Genesis. We are excited for the journey ahead and grateful to have Mason as a part of it. Please join us in welcoming him to the team!

Today, we are celebrating Kirby Hearn, DevOps Software Engineer at The Genesis Group. In his time here, every piece of software we have created bears his fingerprints. If you’ve used a Genesis product, you’ve experienced Kirby’s work.
Steady. Consistent. Trustworthy. Those are the standards Kirby sets every single day. His depth of knowledge is matched only by his work ethic, and his willingness to jump in and help others has made him an invaluable part of our team. In addition to being a talented developer, he lifts up the people around him. And he doesn’t seem to be slowing down!
Kirby, thank you for 20 years of excellence, humility, and leadership. Genesis is better because of you. We are grateful for you and your beautiful family.

Team Genesis at the 6th Annual Remembrance Run! 🏃❤️
What a beautiful morning! An incredible turnout of families and friends from across Tyler and East Texas came together to honor loved ones, share stories, and lift each other up, all in support of The Children's Park of Tyler.
The Genesis family showed up strong. Some ran, some walked, and some proudly held down the cheering section. It was a great day of connecting, remembering, and making memories together.
We are grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another in such a powerful way. It’s an honor to support organizations like The Children’s Park, which continues to provide a place of healing and hope for families navigating loss.

Swingin’ for the fences at the Battle of the Badges! 💥⚾️
This weekend’s all-star event benefited The Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County. It was a hard-fought game, but the City of Tyler Police Department came out on top over the City of Tyler Fire Department, UT Health East Texas EMS, and the Smith County Sheriff's Office. And while the trophy finally sits on a shelf at Tyler PD, the real MVPs are the children who benefit from the CAC's major league work.

Not just another business trip. ✈️
This week, Genesis President Jim Nipp and Executive Director of Sales & Business Development Rachel Johnston are in Orlando, Florida, for this year’s MTUG Chapter Presidents Meeting. They will present the latest and most exciting innovations in our GenWatch solution.
This is always a big deal for us. It is an honor to participate with and learn from the Motorola Trunked Users Group. Every gathering provides us with fresh insights, new perspectives, and a deeper understanding of where the Land Mobile Radio industry is headed. We don’t take our role in this community lightly.
We are excited to see so many friends and grateful to share the stage with our LMR partners!
