We would like to recognize Genesis eBONDS Product Owner James Wansley for his service as Board Chair of Leadership Tyler.
In his own words: “As outgoing Board President, it was an honor to sit in the same chair that Leah Moser Wansley was in a few years ago. I served alongside an amazing board and worked with passionate committee members, all organized and executed by our talented LT Executive Director, Wendy Frizzell. As a past president, I am now going into my 8th year of service on Leadership Tyler. This organization and its community impact continue to improve every year. I was a member of class 26 (the best class ever), and this year, we are celebrating our 40th class. I am proud and excited for what's to come!”
We are blessed to have so many servant-leaders, such as James, who set the bar high for all of us. Congratulations, James!

This past weekend, the extended Genesis family had an absolute blast preparing food boxes and stuffing hundreds of bags of rice and beans at the East Texas Food Bank. All told, 5,651 senior meals were packed, which will be distributed throughout East Texas.
Unfortunately, hunger affects people of all ages, including many seniors living on fixed incomes. People right here in our backyard. The East Texas Food Bank helps fill the gaps, providing nutritious meals and a little extra peace of mind.
The East Texas Food Bank serves 26 counties and partners with more than 200 local organizations to help provide meals to children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity. Their reach is incredible, but their mission is simple: making sure our neighbors have food on the table.
But, they cannot fulfill this mission without YOU! Learn how you can help: www.easttexasfoodbank.org

Pure, undiluted joy! That is the best description of a Miracle League Of Tyler Original game.
The Miracle League of Tyler makes baseball accessible for children with physical and cognitive disabilities, ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of the game. The Miracle League Field of Dreams is thoughtfully designed to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and other mobility needs, creating a place where every player can shine. Every high five, every cheer from the stands, and every ear-to-ear smile is a reminder that the game truly belongs to everyone. Being part of these moments and helping dreams come alive on the diamond is a grand slam in every sense of the word.
At the end of the day, we feel like the winners, and our hearts overflow with joy!

🌟 Genesis Employee Spotlight: Gracie Chapman! 🌟
This month, we are proud to recognize Gracie Chapman, our LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Product Owner, for her dedication, leadership, and nearly 9 years of service to our company.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at Genesis, Gracie shared that it's the genuine care shown to her and her family.
"The Genesis staff prays for us, encourages us, and shows up for us. It’s also a bonus to see my husband, T. J., every day!"
One of Gracie's favorite memories was attending her first Genesis Users Forum, where she had the opportunity to see firsthand how the products she helps shape are used by customers in the field and to connect with the people who depend on them every day.
Another memory that holds a special place in her heart is seeing an incredible outpouring of support from her Genesis family at The Children's Park of Tyler Remembrance Run, honoring her son, Carver.
"It was way more representation than I thought would show up. It was a sea of matching Carver shirts, and it was special to me."
Gracie's passion for serving our customers, combined with the care she shows for those around her, makes a lasting impact on our team every day.
Thank you, Gracie, for all you do. You are a big part of the Genesis family. ❤️

Once a month at Genesis, we gather for Refuel & Refocus, a time we set aside from the busy workday to pause, share a meal, worship, and encourage one another.
This month looked a little different. Instead of hearing from a special guest, we spent time reflecting on the importance of rest. We’re not just talking about physical rest, but also emotional and spiritual rest.
Scripture reminds us that rest is not weakness or wasted time. It is a gift, an opportunity to hit the “Reset” button, and an invitation to trust God more deeply.
“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” Psalm 23:2–3
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28–30
We are grateful for moments like these that help us slow down, reconnect, and remember where our true strength comes from. And when we get back to work, our batteries are at 100%, and everyone benefits.

Today, we’re celebrating our own Barry Hafer as the 2025 Goodwill Graduate of the Year!
Barry completed the GoodTech Academy program in September 2023 before earning his CompTIA A+ Certification in February 2024. Along the way, he completed a Department of Labor internship as an IT Technician at Cumberland Academy in Tyler, successfully fulfilling all 2,000 required on-the-job training hours.
At Cumberland Academy, he quickly earned a reputation for his technical skill, dependability, and positive attitude. And since joining the Genesis eBONDS Support Team as a Customer Integration Representative, he’s continued doing exactly what Barry does best: showing up, working hard, solving problems, and making the people around him better.
Genesis Owner and President Jim Nipp summed it up perfectly: “He has been great! Send me more like this one!” We agree, Jim. If cloning Barry were an option, we’d probably already be working on it. 😄
Barry's work ethic, humility, and heart have made a lasting impact on our team. With people like him, we are excited for the future of eBONDS!
