Refuel and Refocus ⛽💙

This month, we had the privilege of hearing from Wendie Turner, Media Technology Specialist at Whitehouse ISD, whose passion for serving others is rooted in something far greater than a career; it is rooted in the Kingdom of God.

Wendie reminded us that no matter where God has placed us, whether in a classroom, an office, a business, or anywhere else, we each have an opportunity to be His light. The experiences that have shaped us, even the difficult ones, are often the very things God uses to encourage someone else.

Wendie beautifully pointed out that making a Kingdom impact doesn't always require a stage or a spotlight. More often, it looks like helping someone feel seen, welcomed, loved, and valued. As one who spent much of her childhood feeling invisible, she empathizes with children struggling with their self-worth. "There have been times I've sat on the floor beside a student who's having a really hard day, and in that moment I think, 'Lord, thank You for allowing me to go through what I went through.'"

As we head into a new month, may we all ask ourselves: Who can I encourage today? Who can I remind that they matter?
