Rebecca brings a strong background in bookkeeping, budgeting, vendor coordination, expense tracking, and data analysis. Her experience spans Dell Technologies, Bretford, and the construction industry. In her previous bookkeeping role, she managed invoicing, reconciliations, vendor payments, and month-end processes, helping keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion and Fitness and a minor in Human Development. And yes, she is a proud Longhorn. Hook ’Em Horns! 🤘

Originally from Tyler, Rebecca spent several years in Austin before returning home to East Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four-year-old daughter, whether that means playground adventures, puzzles, tea parties, or Legos. She also enjoys jogging, tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, and traveling. Some of her favorite destinations include Egypt, Spain, and London.

We just can’t say enough good things about our dear friends at the Fostering Collective. They are the picture of the hands and feet of Christ. Their mission is to ensure that vulnerable children and overwhelmed families are not left to carry impossible burdens alone. They bring together ordinary people, churches, organizations, and communities to become a consistent, compassionate presence in the middle of hard stories.

Speaking of hearts, have you heard about Heart Gallery East Texas?

There are currently 29,000 youth in the foster care system in Texas, with 6,000 awaiting adoption. Among these, 1,800 youth have been identified as needing additional advocacy efforts beyond traditional adoption recruitment. These include grade school and older youth, sibling groups, and youth with higher medical and behavioral needs.

In East Texas, approximately 100 youth fall into these categories. Heart Gallery East Texas exists to connect them to their forever families.

Michael brings 12 years of experience with the United States Air Force Security Forces, serving in roles including detective, SWAT team member, and Pre-Deployment Combat Instructor. His extensive training background, combined with the opportunity to travel to 19 countries during his service, has given him a unique perspective and passion for helping others.

He earned his Associate’s Degree from the Community College of the Air Force and is also an Eagle Scout who now enjoys mentoring his two sons as they pursue Eagle Scout themselves. When he’s not working, Michael spends most of his time with his family, attending sporting events, participating in Scouts, and working on home improvement and woodworking projects.
