General

• NEW ‘Watch’ Creation – Monitor activity of interest across GenWatch Web with powerful, customizable Watches.
  • Watches can notify users in the Stream, via email, or through GenWatch’s SNMP forwarding capabilities when specified criteria are met.
  • To streamline Watch creation, one-click Create Watch actions have been integrated into data grids throughout GenWatch Web, allowing users to create a Watch from the currently selected item or applied filters.
• Dark mode is now the default theme in GenWatch Web.
• Upload custom logos that replace the default logo across the application header, login screen, and report downloads.
• Email Updates:
  • An email cooldown that is configurable. Behavior is set to send an initial immediate email and batch subsequent alerts into a single summary email sent at the end of the cooldown window.
  • Support for OAuth 2.0 authentication for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email accounts on GenWatch Web and GenWatch thick client Trigger module.
• Support Entra authentication for logins.

Activity

• Added the ability to quickly create a Watch from Activity.
  • From the Activity view, create a Watch using the currently selected Packet and Resource Filters.
  • From the Packet Details view, create a Watch using the selected packet values.

Dashboard

• Introduced Dashboard Replay functionality:
  • Automatically capture PNG snapshots on a designated template every 15 minutes.
  • “View Dashboard Replay” page added, where users can browse, view, and download historical snapshots using date range filters, a scrollable timestamp list, and persistent zoom controls.
• Enhanced the Snapshot functionality to allow dashboard snapshots to be taken on demand as a PNG.
• Enhanced the “Add Widget” dropdown selection to allow search and show an instant preview fly-out panel that displays a sample image, title, and description when hovering over any widget option in the selection dropdown.
• Added the ability to configure optional custom titles for any dashboard widget directly within its settings panel.
• Added the ability to quickly create a Watch by right-clicking on specific activity on a grid-based widget.
• Clicking the Connected Subscribers widget opens a detail list of the subscribers in the section of the donut chart.
• Clicking the Connected System Calls widget opens a detail list of the calls involved in the duration rollups. Clarified the activity being shown in the labels and detail list header.
• Added a KPI Chart plotting radio and group counts in the Default dashboard.
• The Call Activity widget, previously available only on the Site Drilldown page, is now available as a Dashboard widget titled Talkgroup Call Activity. Displays call activity across all talkgroups or a custom selection of groups.

Faults

• Added the ability to quickly create a Watch from one or more alarms or events of interest.
• Added Subsite ID and Subsite Alias columns.

Map

• Introduced Points of Interest (POI):
  • Create a point of interest anywhere on the map to identify locations that should be marked for reference or informational purposes.
  • Import/export functionality for updating/adding bulk POIs.
  • Group points of interest by icon and alias the groups.
  • Toggle off and on the individual layers to focus relevant layers.
  • Added click-to-zoom functionality to navigate directly to a selected POI within a group.

Reports

• NEW Site Registration Time by Subscriber Report – This report summarizes site registration sessions for subscribers whose cumulative registration time meets or exceeds the configured Minimum Registration Duration.
• Added an “Include All Data Tab” parameter, which will generate a tab that consolidates the data across all tabs on the report. This functionality is available on the Radio Rejects, Subscriber Activity Detail, Conventional Subscriber Activity Details, and Talkgroup Activity Details reports.

SAM

• Added the ability to quickly create a Watch from one or more alarms or events of interest.

Security

• System administrators can now unlock users during an active login cooldown period from invalid login attempts.
• Added a forced password reset workflow that requires new local users, or users whose passwords were reset by an administrator, to update their password upon their next login.

SNMP

• Proactively log SNMP gaps that we identify during processing in the Event Viewer.

Stream

• Added a dedicated “Watches” tab within the Stream module to view and manage existing watches.

General

• Improved handling of user sessions to prevent unexpected logouts
• Added the GenWatch version to the Login screen for GenWatch Anywhere users.
• Added a Login page gate that displays if the GenWatch Anywhere version does not match the On-Prem GenWatch version. Also logs to health monitoring.
• Updated the notification and emergency badges to cap the display at “99+” when unread alert counts exceed 99.
• Add “Alias” values where previously only “ID” was present.
• Resolved a memory-growth issue in GenWatch Anywhere that degraded performance over time.
• Improved data warehouse pull performance by no longer looping empty child tables from 0 to the maximum parent ID.

• Devices manually assigned to a place now update their architecture when the place’s architecture changes.

• Subscribers without an agency are now automatically assigned to Root instead of requiring manual assignment.
• Agency import no longer shows an error message when a range hasn’t changed.

ATIA

• Removed an unneeded ATIA job step from the LT database.
• Optimized the GET_ATIA Subscribers_After_Time stored procedure that was running too slowly.

Dashboard

• Fixed blinking labels on the Connected Subscribers widget.
• Prevented saving invalid options on the New Subscriber widget.

Faults

• Consolidated some Fault terminology between different GenWatch Web modules for clarity.

GenWatch Thick Client

• Client installer no longer attempts to create a synonym incorrectly.
• Fixed a syntax issue that caused GenWatch to crash on domain-configured PCs.
• Fixed a service crash caused by Trigger definitions timing out.
• Improved exception logging on GenWatch’s  RID tables.

Quick Search

• Quick Search results now load faster.
• Quick Search subscribers now load even when an agency is missing.
• Quick Search results no longer omit subscriber locations until the service is restarted.
• Fixed Quick Search stored procedures that could duplicate radios across different Omni systems.
• Quick Search now displays loading indicators while results are retrieved.
• Quick Search results now clear from view when a user logs out.
• Quick Search affiliation and registration timestamps now match report values.
