GenWatch-ATIA Hardware Specifications

The following are recommended specifications for operation of GenWatch® ATIA v.2.23. For questions, please contact Genesis for system requirements.

GenWatch-ATIA Reader

  • Chassis Type: Rack-Mounted
  • CPU: Intel® Xeon® E-2334 3.4GHz 4C/8T or similarly equipped
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MT/s
  • Drives: Hardware RAID 1 Configuration, ie. PERC H355 or similar
  • Storage Drives: 1TB SATA HDD (x2)
  • Single Power Supply
  • Windows Server 2022

GenWatch-ATIA Data Processor / Database Server

  • Chassis Type: Rack-Mounted
  • CPU: Xeon® Silver 4215 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads @ 2.50ghz or similarly equipped.
  • RAM: At least 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MT/s
  • RAID: Type 5. Hardware RAID Controller with write caching ability, ie. PERC H750 or similar
  • Storage Amount: 2 TB of available storage space. Typically 4x 800GB drives
  • Drive Type: SAS SSD drives (Mix Use 12Gbps 512e)
  • Dual Power Supply
  • Window Server 2022
  • MS SQL Server 2022

  • CPU: Xeon® Silver 4215 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads @ 2.50ghz or similarly equipped.
  • RAM: At least 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MT/s
  • RAID: Type 5. Hardware RAID Controller with write caching ability, ie. PERC H750 or similar
  • Storage Amount: 4 TB of available storage space. Typically 6x 960GB drives.
  • Drive Type: SAS SSD drives (Mix Use 12Gbps 512e)
  • Dual Power Supply
  • Window Server 2022
  • MS SQL Server 2022

GenWatch-ATIA Client Computer

  • Recommended: 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-12300 @ 3.5GHz 4c/8t
  • 16GB DDR4 RAM
  • 500GB SSD
  • Windows 10 Enterprise 2021 LTSC (64-bit)
  • MS Excel 2019 volume licensing build (to open saved reports)
  • 10Mb of network bandwidth per client.
    • This includes VPN bandwidth for remote clients

For security purposes, the Data Reader is configured with two network interface cards. Certain network configurations require the reader to have one interface on the system network and one on the corporate network.

Note: If your system is large or high volume, consult Genesis for recommendations specific to your system. It is recommended to use a UPS to protect the equipment and data.
