Genesis Gives Back
⚾ Where Every Player is a Hero ⚾
This weekend, Genesis had the absolute joy of being player buddies for some remarkable young athletes at Miracle League Field at Faulkner Park in Tyler!
The Miracle League of Tyler is a nonprofit that makes baseball accessible for children with physical or cognitive disabilities. Here, the field is designed with wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches in mind. Here, the love for the game shines brighter than any scoreboard.
Every high five, every cheer, and every ear-to-ear grin is proof that the game truly belongs to everyone. Being there, helping dreams come alive on the diamond was a grand slam home run in more ways than one.

🏃 Going for the GOLD! ✨
Saturday was a beautiful day at Bergfeld Park in Tyler, supporting the Gold Network of East Texas Gold Run!
Genesis is proud to stand alongside these amazing people. For them, the race never ends, as they tirelessly support the families of children who are fighting cancer. Seeing the heart of our community come together like this reminds us of our “WHY.”

You could say things are B-E-E-U-tiful at Genesis! 🐝
We had a blast participating in the PAVE East Texas annual Corporate Spelling Bee! Even better, Team Genesis took home first place and the Spirit Award!
The real win? Standing alongside PAVE in support of the education programs they provide to our community.
Special thanks to Abby Floyd from PAVE for stopping by our offices!

✨ What a blast! CAC Bling-O was brimming with sparkle, laughter, and nostalgia. This year, we enrolled in Bling-O High: Class of 2025 with the theme “Proms of the Past.” Our class presidents Jim Nipp and Doc Deason kept the fun moving along. And while the sequins and shenanigans were memorable, the real win is that every bid, every game, and every donation benefitted the life-changing work of the Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County.

🏆 Team Genesis FTW! 🏆
Not to brag, but…okay…maybe just a little. 😊 Congratulations to our incredible, superpowered spelling bee champions, Jan Roberts and Robert Boggs. In a fairytale story, they brought home the traveling trophy in the 34th Annual PAVE East Texas (formerly The Literacy Council of East Texas) Corporate Spelling Bee!
✨ The theme this year was “Once Upon a Time”, and Team Genesis became Team Little Red Riding Hood. One by one, each speller gave it their best shots as the words became increasingly more difficult. But the suspense reached a boiling point during the sudden-death, winner-take-all round. In the end, Jan Roberts (aka the Big Bad Wolf) huffed and puffed and blew us away with a speed round that would put ChatGPT to shame. 27 words in under 2 minutes!
🌟 Ultimately, the real winners of the day were the people served by PAVE. PAVE East Texas delivers impactful, adult-focused education to help individuals improve their lives, while also empowering families and strengthening communities throughout East Texas. Whether someone seeks better job prospects, educational advancement, or a supportive learning environment for their family, PAVE’s programs are designed to open doors to brighter futures. We are grateful for the vital work they do in our community. ❤️

❤️ Love Thy City! ❤️
We were honored to take part in the second annual Love Thy City event at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center here in Tyler. Despite the East Texas summer heat, the joy was unmistakable. Smiles everywhere. Laughter. Hugs. Unity.
Is this what heaven is like? A place where people of every background, every story, every color, come together to love one another. To serve. To celebrate. To uplift.
We left inspired. Hopeful. And grateful to be part of a city with so much heart. We are proud to call Tyler our home.

Operation Packs & Quacks! 🐥 Genesis Family Fun Night is one of the highlights of our year. And what a turnout! Our extended flock gathered to fill care bags, devour massive quantities of hot dogs, and cheer on our favorite yellow aquatic thoroughbreds. Thanks to Kona Ice of Tyler for helping us crank up the fun to an 11!
❤️ Our very special guests were Hope Haven of East Texas. Hope Haven is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Tyler, with a mission to serve adolescent girls in the foster care system through home, healing, and hope. Since launching in 2018, they've served dozens of teenage girls, helping many graduate from high school, secure jobs, reunite with their families, or find adoptive homes.
