Genesis News
This month's Refuel & Refocus was simple but profound. No special guest, no agenda. Just family. We came together to share, to listen, and to lift up one another in the spirit of gratitude.
Through laughter, tears, and encouragement, we left reminded that thankfulness changes everything: our perspective, our relationships, and our hearts.
Refuel & Refocus is more than a monthly gathering; it’s a space to pause, breathe, and rest at the feet of our Savior. We are so grateful for that opportunity.

⚾ Where Every Player is a Hero ⚾
This weekend, Genesis had the absolute joy of being player buddies for some remarkable young athletes at Miracle League Field at Faulkner Park in Tyler!
The Miracle League of Tyler is a nonprofit that makes baseball accessible for children with physical or cognitive disabilities. Here, the field is designed with wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches in mind. Here, the love for the game shines brighter than any scoreboard.
Every high five, every cheer, and every ear-to-ear grin is proof that the game truly belongs to everyone. Being there, helping dreams come alive on the diamond was a grand slam home run in more ways than one.

🌟 Genesis Employee Spotlight: James Wansley! 🌟
For 25 years, James has helped shape Genesis, and we have had a front row seat to his rise into the stratosphere. First, as one of our most talented developers, and now as the Product Manager for Genesis eBONDS. Beyond Genesis, he has served as Mayor of Whitehouse, Board President of Leadership Tyler, and currently (as of last week) chairs ETCOG’s (East Texas Council of Governments) Executive Committee. James was also named as the statewide TARC (Texas Association of Regional Councils) Vice President.
James would say his Genesis journey boils down to gratitude, giving, and growth: “We’re known for solving problems no one else will, and for investing in employees and their families, not just with benefits, but with education, support, and opportunities to serve.”
His favorite memory? Winter Storm Uri, when Genesis backed him as Mayor to deliver water to vulnerable citizens with President Jim Nipp and teammates right there beside him. “My city benefited because Genesis gave me the support to serve,” James reflects.
Thank you, James! Your leadership inside and outside Genesis inspires us all! 👏

🏃 Going for the GOLD! ✨
Saturday was a beautiful day at Bergfeld Park in Tyler, supporting the Gold Network of East Texas Gold Run!
Genesis is proud to stand alongside these amazing people. For them, the race never ends, as they tirelessly support the families of children who are fighting cancer. Seeing the heart of our community come together like this reminds us of our “WHY.”

Perfect weather. Stunning scenery. Incredible company.
It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it.
We just wrapped up an amazing week in Victoria, BC, where we were once again honored to co-sponsor the Canadian Channel Partner Summit and Golf Tournament at the Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa. Many thanks to Motorola Solutions for hosting such a fantastic event. We are already looking forward to the next one!

You could say things are B-E-E-U-tiful at Genesis! 🐝
We had a blast participating in the PAVE East Texas annual Corporate Spelling Bee! Even better, Team Genesis took home first place and the Spirit Award!
The real win? Standing alongside PAVE in support of the education programs they provide to our community.
Special thanks to Abby Floyd from PAVE for stopping by our offices!

Today, we remember.
On this anniversary of 9/11, we remember and honor the thousands of lives that were taken in cruel acts of hatred.
We remember and honor the first responders, the heroes, and the countless lives that were forever changed. Their courage in the face of tragedy reminds us that our nation is stronger united than divided.
May we never forget the sacrifice, the heartbreak, and the resilience of that day. And may we keep our eyes on Jesus, walking in His ways as we strive for unity, compassion, and peace.
🇺🇸 We will never forget.
