We love our community partners! They provide the opportunity for us to engage with the people in our area and minister to them in whatever way we can. We are the ones who end up feeling the most blessed. That’s what #GenesisGivesBack is all about.
PATH – People Attempting to Help is a great example of organizations on the frontlines of making a difference in the lives of others. PATH’s mission is simple and powerful: meeting the needs of East Texans with dignity, compassion, and hope. A part of that mission is helping our kids stay warm in the winter.
Our Genesis family had the privilege of participating in their annual Coats for Kids distribution at First Presbyterian Church in Tyler. So much love was packed into our short time together. To make the day even more special, Santa and his elves made an appearance! It was the perfect way to kick off our Season of Giving. Ho ho ho!
Genesis is grateful and blessed to be a part of this year’s South Central Texas Motorola Trunked Users Group Meeting, happening November 19-20 in beautiful Boerne, Texas. It’s a chance for us to connect with our friends, AKA our longtime partners in Public Safety Communications!
Each MTUG event brings together the people who rely on mission-critical communications to share ideas, learn from one another, and continue pushing the industry forward.
Genesis will be presenting the latest exciting updates to our LMR software solutions on Thursday morning, November 20th, at 9:15, followed by a customer discussion session.

For over 18 years, John Williams has been a creative force at Genesis! As our Creative Director and unofficial team photographer, John brings not only artistic brilliance but also a deep sense of purpose and connection to everything he does.
John describes his role behind the camera as “10% pressing the shutter button, and 90% talk show host,” a perfect reflection of how he builds relationships and captures the spirit of our team.
What makes Genesis special to John? It’s the culture.
“There is a biblical foundation of love, trust, and support that transcends a mere sense of community and enters the realm of family.”
At Genesis, culture isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a living, breathing part of our daily work. It’s how our management team leads with integrity, how peers uplift one another, and how our customers and community partners become part of our extended family. John credits this environment with making him a better man, and we’re honored to have him as part of our journey.
John’s favorite memories at Genesis are during the holiday season, when the spirit of giving and the Holy Spirit fill the halls.

This month, our Genesis family gathered to pause, take a deep breath, and refocus our hearts during this season of ThanksLiving, a time not just for giving thanks, but for living it. We shared and reflected on powerful truths that carry us through every season:
