Daron Walls is a welcome addition to the Genesis development team. Daron’s journey to Genesis began out West, where he grew up in Pasadena, California (the other City of Roses with a Rose Parade). He moved to Gladewater, Texas, where he graduated high school, then continued his education at U.T. Tyler, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. Since then, Daron has taught programming for engineers as adjunct instructor at U.T. Tyler. He enjoys growing vegetables in his garden, and much of his time is spent with his family, including nine (yes, nine) children.
Smith County, Texas — The Smith County Commissioners Court on August 14, approved new dispatch software that could be a “game changer” for emergency responders.
Chad Richey, product manager for Genesis PULSE, said it is a web-based, decision support software for emergency call centers. The program is designed to simplify the dispatch process, meaning faster response times for citizens who need assistance.
“It is a difference maker for 9-1-1 personnel and emergency response,” he said.

Genesis extends a warm welcome to Caroline Gage, who joins our Maintenance and Total Support (MTS) Team as Support & Maintenance Administrator. A true blue Texas girl, Caroline grew up in Tyler, TX and moved back after graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Horticulture. For the past five years, she ran a tight ship at Janie’s Cakes, a local bakery with many Genesis patrons.
In her free time, you will likely find Caroline outdoors with her two dogs or on a patio with friends. She enjoys floral design, reading, traveling, and antique shopping. Texas Country music, tacos, and sweet tea are a few of her favorite things.

Macon Richardson comes to us from Washington state, where he was a Network Engineer with a local Internet Service Provider. He now resides in Tyler — home of The Genesis Group — with his wife, Lori (a Tyler native) and daughter. Along with the benefit of being away from frequent rain showers, they now enjoy being close to family, as well as the friendly people of East Texas. Macon is passionate about solving the world’s technology issues and is happy to be here with Genesis Support where he can put his IT troubleshooting superpowers to good use.
Wondo Choung is a full-stack web developer from Seattle, Washington. He enjoys working in a team structure and considers himself a full-time student to the developer world. He spends his time writing clean readable code and considers it an honor when he is taught/shown something new. Apart from the developer world, he enjoys hiking with his wife, camping, 90s music, and playing team sports with his friends.
